The Museum is open Monday to Sunday from 09:30 AM until 07:00 PM. It takes 2.5 to 3.00 hours to have entire tour of the museum.Ticket selling window open till 05:30 PM.
Tickets will be available only at Siddhagiri Museum ticket counter. Ticket window will be open till 5:30 pm. Discounts are only for School Picnics.

Siddhagiri Museum is situated at Shree Kshetra Siddhagiri Math popularly known as Kaneri Math as it is nearby Kaneri village. This holy center is about 10 kilometer away from Kolhapur known as ‘Dakshinkaashi’ where the famous ‘Mahalaxmi Temple’ is located. It is 4 kilometer away from ‘Pune-Banglore’ highway which is national express highway no.4. Railway system is another facility for communication. There is an airport located nearby ‘Ujalaiwadi’ – 9 km away from Kolhapur.
Once you reach at Kolhapur stand or railway station, There are 2 ways by which you can travel to Siddhagiri Museum situated at Kaneri Math.
By Kolhapur Municipal Transport (KMT):
Catch a KMT bus for Kagal/Kaneri from Kolhapur bus stand (CBS) ( near Kolhapur railway station). If you catch bus for ‘Kaneri’, then it will directly reach to Siddhagiri Museum which is situated at Kaneri Math. The frequency of ‘Kaneri’ bus is around 45 min.
If you catch bus for ‘Kagal’, then get down at Gokul Shirgaon MIDC and catch an auto from there for Kaneri Math where Siddhagiri Museum is located. Share autos are available from MIDC. The frequency of ‘Gokul Shirgaon MIDC ’ bus is around 20 min.
By State Transport buses:
Catch a bus for ‘Gokul Shirgaon MIDC’.There are many buses which will go to Gokul Shirgaon MIDC.
The buses are for ‘Chandrapur’,’Chandgad’,’Kagal’ which halt at Gokul Shirgaon MIDC. Further catch an auto from there for Kaneri Math where Siddhagiri Museum is located. Share autos are available from MIDC.
The nearest mainline railway station is Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Railway Station (earlier name, Kolhapur Railway Station) is managed by the Central Railways.
If you are on Pune – Banglore Highway (NH-4): Take a right turn at Gokul Shirgaon MIDC. Siddhagiri museum is 4 kilometer away from MIDC.
If you are on Banglore – Pune Highway (NH-4): Take a left turn at Gokul Shirgaon MIDC. Siddhagiri museum is 4 kilometer away from MIDC.
